R23 gas, which is non-flammable, performs effectively between -40°C and -73°C. Showing similar properties to R13 and R502, R23 gas is especially used in medical devices. Compared to other refrigerants, R23 gas is stored at higher pressure and has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 14,800.
