R134a Refrigerant Applications
R134a refrigerant is widely used in automotive air conditioning systems. This gas, which is used in vehicle air conditioners and household refrigerators, is non-flammable. In addition, R134a is also used as a blowing agent in XPS (Extruded Polystyrene Foam) production. As a refrigerant commonly preferred in the automotive spare parts sector, R134a has gradually been replaced by new-generation gases since 2021. These new-generation automotive refrigerants are used to reduce environmental impact and, unlike R134a, they have flammable properties.
Is R134a a Blend or a Pure Gas?
R134a is a pure refrigerant and does not contain any blend. Therefore, it consists of 100% R134a.
Storage Methods
As YIL TECHNIK, we offer R134a refrigerant in various storage formats. This gas is available in 12-liter cylinders (Net 12 KG), 61-liter cylinders (Net 63 KG), 1000-liter tanks (TON TANK – Net 930 KG), and 22,000-liter tanks (Net 22,000 KG). For 12-liter cylinders, we provide both dip tube and non-dip tube options. In cylinders without a dip tube, the cylinder must be inverted when charging liquid R134a into the system. In cylinders with a dip tube, liquid charging can be performed while the cylinder is in an upright position. The directional markings on dip tube cylinders should be carefully reviewed and followed before use.
